Presentation Instructions
Notice for all attendees
- Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, SASIMI 2021 workshop uses virtual conference systems. All of the poster session will be held with Gather.town, and the short talk session will be held with Zoom.
- All attendee will receive an invitation by email, which includes the urls of both Gather.town and Zoom.
- Authors should submit BOTH (1) video for short talk session and (2) poster materials for poster session by March 15 (Mon.). Details of instruction will be sent after the registration. If you have not received the instruction, please ask to presentation chair (sasimi21-presentation@sasimi.jp.)
- At least one author should hold both short talk session and poster session. No-show paper will be removed.
- We are planning to provide a simple manual for poster session with Gather.town.
Short Talk Session
- You are requested to make a 3-minutes short talk in the main hall at the beginning of the session for your paper. Please prepare your short talk slides up to 4 pages (including a title slide) in a MP4 video.
- MP4 videos of all presenters are assembled to one MP4 video for the short talk session by conference staffs, and streamed with Zoom.
- After the short talk session, you are supposed to move to the poster room in Gather.town immediately.
- Please submit your short talk slides to the presentation chair via online storage system. Presenters will be notified of the url by email.
- Deadline is March 15 (Mon.).
NOTE:
- We accept only MP4 format. Other file formats are REJECTED.
- If you failed to send MP4 video by the above deadline, your short talk presentation will be skipped.
- The name of your MP4 video has to be same as your paper number, e.g. R1-1.mp4, R1-2.mp4, shown in Advance Program.
- Please make sure that your short talk presentation is in English.
Video Recording
Several video conference systems support recording your presentation. You can record your talk along with the slides. Here are some links of instructions on recording on their platforms.

- You can also use PowerPoint to convert slides to MP4:
Poster Session
- Please prepare two poster files.
- One is the title poster in wide rectangular shape.
- Example file, example view; 1:5 aspect ratio is preferred.
- Another is the main poster, with no size limitation.
- Example file, example view, in portrait.
- Example file, example view, in landscape.
- One is the title poster in wide rectangular shape.
- Paper title, paper number, author names and affiliations should be printed on the posters.
- Please stay and tuned around your poster during the poster session of your paper.
- You can share your PC screen with the audience using Gather.town.
- Deadline is March 15 (Mon.).
NOTE:
