Font issues
The following fonts are considered “base fonts” and you are encouraged to limit your font selections to this list. These fonts are automatically installed with the viewing software (ex. Acrobat Reader).
- Times, Times-Bold, Times-Oblique, Times-BoldOblique
- Courier, Courier-Bold, Courier-Oblique, Courier-BoldOblique
- Helvetica, Helvetica-Bold, Helvetica-Oblique, Helvetica-BoldOblique
- Symbol
- ZapfDingbats
- Official archive
Using these fonts will reduce the size of your converted paper as well as speed up the display and printing of your paper for the readers. Additionally using only the specified fonts provides a consistent look across to all PDF files. If you decide to use fonts other than “base fonts” you must submit your paper as a PDF file with embedded fonts. The embedded fonts will be preserved during the conversion process. However, please do not use 2-byte fonts such as Japanese, Chinese, or Korean fonts.
All of the accepted papers will be included in the proceeding which is only available during workshop period. In addition, SASIMI 2024 is going to introduce an “Official Archive” on the web site (http://sasimi.jp) where only the papers chosen by the authors are uploaded for open access.
No show and non-author presentation will NOT be published in Official Archive.
Copyright Transfer:
This SASIMI, we decide to embed the copyright transfer into final paper submission system all together. In the submission system, all accepted papers are required to choose one of the two types of copyright transfer forms. The final manuscript cannot be submitted unless either one copyright transfer is chosen.
If your paper is accepted for presentation, you are requested to accept copyright transfer at the final paper submission system. Detailed information are shown as follows.
- There are two types of copyright transfer forms; one is for tentative onsite electronic proceedings, and the other is for both proceedings and Official Archive. Note that Official Archive on the web site (http://sasimi.jp) will be introduced to upload only the papers chosen by authors for open access after the workshop.
-
Please select one of the two types of copyright
transfers at
the web submission system.
